		Shelter Episcopal Shelter Episcopal Community Services, Diocese of California 1001 Polk Street San Francisco Provides stays of up to six months for homeless adults. Not part of the city system -- go there directly. Separate floors for women and men. No waiting period for women. Connecting Point Tel: 415-442-5134 Hours: Monday - Friday, 9 am to noon and 1 to 5 pm. Not a shelter itself, but offers placement in shelters for one or two parent families, expectant couples, and pregnant women in third trimester. Same sex couples accepted (there's a wait for placement.) Call for an intake, leave your name and number. English and Spanish spoken.
